Ekiti Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines & Agriculture (Ekiccima) was established in 1996 as an interest group with the objective of articulating business interests of the newly created Ekiti State after its creation from old Ondo State.
Ekiccima is voluntary and encompasses of State, Business/Professional Associations; and Corporate Bodies. The Association champions the course of business through its advocacy role and influences public policies that promote free enterprise.

EKICCIMA Mission being one of the active chamber of commerce in South West Nigeria, EKICCIMA will continue to work with, and act on behalf of the private sector businesses in Ekiti, South West and Nigeria, to foster economic development and interact with the legislative and executive arms of Government at all levels to ensure a good and an enabling economic envinroment for business to grow.
VISSION
The Vision of EKICCIMA is to build and protect business within the Organised Private Sector, while developing people through sharing of relevant knowledge, information and Technology to her esteemed membership.
GOAL
Our goal is to promote speedy economic growth even to the smallest company through exposure of their businesses to the global market.
Today, EKICCIMA has grown to a huge influential organization, widely recognized as the voice of the Organised Private Sector (OPS) Businesses in Ekiti State.
And it remains a non profit business support and networking organization that puts the needs and interests of its members and stake holders at the heart of every thing it does.
EKICCIMA will continue to work and act on behalf of businesses in Ekiti Land, South West and our dear country, Nigeria, to foster economic development and interact with the legislative and executive arms of Government at all levels to ensure a good and an enabling economic environment for businesses to grow.
OBJECTIVES
1. To act as the mouth piece of the private sector associations, and chambers of Commerce and Industry in Ekiti State.
2. EKICCIMA advocates on legislative matters, and Government policies that affects the Business Community and Private Sector in Ekiti State.
3. EKICCIMA will be the contact body with the Government of Ekiti State.
4. EKICCIMA will promote, protect, and develop matters affecting Commerce, Industry, Mining, Agribusiness, Knowledge Economy, Tourism & Hospitality in Ekiti State.
5. To promote synergy between the City Chambers, and echo the voice of the private sector on economic and development matters in Ekiti State.
6. EKICCIMA maintains the as data bank of information and statistics relevant to the development of the Organised Private Sector
EKICCIMA MANDATE
EKICCIMA’s primary objective is to create a conducive atmosphere for the pursuit of Commerce, Industry and other economic activities of interest to the private sector. In pursuit of this objective, the Association undertakes a wide range of activities which include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Collection and dissemination of vital business information.
2. Monitoring the performance of the economy and making representations to the Nigerian Government and its agencies with regard to the effects of the various economic, fiscal and monetary measures
.
3. Identification of the obstacles to the establishment and profitable operation of Commerce, industry and other enterprises, especially those arising out of government policies, the administration of such policies and the exertion of pressure to remove such obstacles.
4. Organizing seminars and workshops on various aspects of the economy, business and management.
5. Promotion of commercial, industrial and general economic cooperation between Nigeria and other countries.
6. Protecting Nigeria’s image and business interests within and outside Nigeria.
7. Mediating in commercial dispute.
